NOTD: Eyeko Saucy Red Polish

Hello :)
Yesterday I wanted to change my manicure as my previous nail polish had chipped on some nails. I'm guessing that's because of my lame top coat because when I didn't apply a top coat on Catrice I Scream Peach it didn't chip for days and there were even no white tips!

Anyway I decided to go for something different, for a color I didn't touch in months. Red. Quite a few years ago my whole collection was red (literally I only had like 6 nail polishes and they were all red).

So here is Eyeko Saucy Red Polish (for naughty nails). The brush is just perfect but the bottle or better the plug (that silver thing on top) makes it really hard to apply nail polish.  The polish has a really nice formula (creme) and dries amazingly fast. I applied three thin coats. And on the thumb and ring finger I layered some red glitter from an unknown brand (I couldn't find a name).

Girls, how do you like reds?

Review: Eyeko nail polishes

Today I decided to do a review of Eyeko nail polishes. Now I have them for some time and I have tried them all.
Here they are in all beauty:

So, let's start with vamp polish (for nasty nails) and Saucy red nail polish (for naughty nails).

The vamp polish looks black, but in reality it is a deep blue color. I applied two coats. I think it is really pretty but it wore off almost the exact second you put it on (instantaneous white tips!). The nail polish seems it dries out very quickly (in the bottle) and it is a mission to open those bottles.

Saucy red polish applies very nicely and stays on for some days.

Ah, the pastel nail polish (for nice nails)! As pretty as it looks like it is a pain applying it! I takes at least three coats to get this results and it dries forever (even with three coats you can see the unevenness of the nail polish). Because of many layers it cracks/peels off very easily.

Pretty nail polish (for neat nails) has got the same issues as the pastel nail polish.
Punk polish (for neon nails) is gorgeous! It lasted a whole week without cracking or getting white tips!

And last my favourite of all:

Disco nail polish (for nightime nails). I love it! It looks like it must be really hard to clean it off your nails, but actually it gets off very easily! On the picture is just ONE coat! Isn't that amazing?
Even though it is amazing it has got one major issue. This.

This is how the brush looks like. It makes it almost impossible to be precise. It also seems this nail polish is almost dried (it's very thick) and it smells badly.

Pros:
+ the colors
+ the price
+ the packaging (very cute)
+ the names :)

Cons:
- the smell
- instantaneous white tips (except: disco, punk, saucy)
- the packaging (very hard to open)
- they last only 6 months once opened

Overall:
I really like the colors :) If you change your nail polishes daily I'd say go for it! But if you wear your manicure for a week or more, I would reccomand you only the most durable ones.

EDIT: After exactly 6 months the already thick Disco Polish has completely dried out.

OOTD skirt :) + EOTD + NOTD

I bet you're pretty tired now of my EOTD's? :P :) Anyway ;) Here is my today's EOTD. I've used blue because of my NOTD :) For a highlighter I've used yellow.

P.S. Sorry for the almost inleggible sentences, I'm just so tired (I just did 2 translations one from Italian to Slovene, the other from Slovene to Italian and now my brain is going to hibernate)

EOTD glittery pink

My today's EOTD :) I've used a pastel pink (Coastal Scents 88 palette) and Eyeko Glitter Liquid Eyeliner.

It was really glittery and after more than 12 hours of wearing it the glitter is as new but the eyeshadow went into the crease :( I have discovered that some colors from the palette can be worn for 12+ hours without going in the crease but others (like this one) can't.

I was thinking of having a makeup or nail contest. What do you think? This time the prizes would be something from Chanel, Dior something like that (we don't have MAC here).

A package from Eyeko! :) + 7 tag + EOTD

While I was at Ljubljana (the Uni started again and there is already so much work to be done) I got a SMS from my sister telling me I got a huuuge package! It was from Eyeko :) Some time ago I sent them a mail for their beauty tips weekly contest (you can send it too :) and I won :D I was so happy :) And this week I received the package.
I got the shiny Eyeko bag (it will come very hand for shopping sprees), a flavoured lip gloss, glittery eyeliner and some badges.
The package is really cute :)

The bag from the front and back

(London's cutest cosmetics)

The cute lip gloss (it smells like roses and is really creamy). You can see the false nails from Revlon in this picture too.

I immediately tried out the glitter eyeliner and it's really shiny and it opens up your eyes :)

I received a pair of earrings I ordered some time ago. Aren't they adorable?

The last thing for today's blog post is the 7 tag :) I got tagged by my sister Tamara.
I was such a fun tag! I had to choose 7 things in the color the person who tagged you chose. She chose BLACK. This really made it easier but in a way more difficult to chose because I have lots of things in black (even though it doesn't suit me :P but it's just so comfortable and easy to find). So here we go:

1. My favourite pair of boots for autumn/winter I got last year (Miss Sixty). I have realized I have something with boots because I have so many of them. My favourites are riding boots (maybe because I want to ride a horse for years?)

2. Wide belt. It makes a plain outfit sultry.

3. Nokia 6120 classic with case

4. Eyeko vamp polish (review soon)

5. A pair of black earrings

6. Maxfactor False Lash Effect Mascara (my absolute favourite)

7. SIGG reusable water bottle. I can't live without water and I have this bottle with me all the time. I have it now for aprox. 6 months and it goes everywhere with me. It's enviroment friendly and stylish :)

Now I tag:

I choose RED.

NOTD: pink reversed french manicure+ NOTD: Eyeko Disco polish

Hi :) I'm back again :) But not for long :P Tomorrow early in the morning I'm going mushrooming (in my country it's almost our second national sport). And I will be back in the evening (with new pics? more squirrels, birds and of course mushrooms?).

Here are 2 pics of my NOTD for the past 2 days :P I loved the reversed french manicure so much that I had to try it again :) This time was pink!

I also got my Eyeko package!

Aren't they so cute? I tried on the Eyeko Disco Polish :) And now I can't imagine how long will it take me to take it down? 2 months :P Right now I feel like I'm in the 70's and in a disco! Yay for glitter :D (and that's one coat!)

With flash

Outside

I also won the weekly beauty tips on their site! Now I will get a beauty goody bag! Yay, can't wait to see what I will get :D

Now I have to try my sister's Matte about you!

P.S. I hate mosquitoes! I think that the arriving autumn has made them mad and now they're agressive twice as much! :/
