Review: My Lip Stuff
What is My Lip Stuff? It's a company that makes natural and cruelty-free lip balms with over 500 flavours, but they also make body butters, bath salts, linen sprays and much more!
I received three lip balms (in three different flavours) to test out:
Strawberry Milkshake, Snickerdoodles, Peach CheesecakeIngredients:
sunflower oil, beeswax, cocoa butter, sweet almond oil, Castor oil, jojoba oil, avocado oil, aloe vera, essential &/or flavour oil.
sunflower oil, beeswax, cocoa butter, sweet almond oil, Castor oil, jojoba oil, avocado oil, aloe vera, essential &/or flavour oil.
Strawberry Milkshake smells exactly like it and tastes as well (yum yum)! Snickerdoodles smells like Cinnamon cookies (but I haven't tried Snickerdoodles yet), while Peach Cheesecake smells peachy (and not very cake-alike)
They come with a safety seal.
Are color-less.
But look like non-sticky gloss on your lips (that moisturizes)!
Pros
+ the texture
+ doesn't feel heavy on the lips
+ looks very shiny/glossy
+ it moisturizes very well the lips
+ absorbs quickly
+ doesn't leave a film on your lips
+ the smells remains for quite some time
+ cruelty-free
+ environment friendly
+ they use only the finest ingredients
+ handmade
+ I love that it's made of natural ingredients
+ they also have vegan lip balms
+ can be personalized!
Cons
- the smell of Snickerdoodles is a bit too overwhelming for me (but I don't like Cinnamon)
- the packaging (not very pretty)
Overall: I like the variety they offer, that they are handmade, cruelty-free and ecological. Plus I'm a huge fan of everything natural, so they get a big plus for that.
And the best part? They look like gloss, but are not sticky (hate that about glosses).
Will I buy again? YES! I want the mojito ones and I want to try some other crazy flavours and their glosses! :)
Price? $2.5 for one
XOXO Parisky
