I've always liked winged eyeliner and lipstick look. For me it's a classy and timeless look so this year is also my makeup to-go. It's fast and pretty. Also I've cut my hair if you haven't noticed! :D

I've topped my middle and thumb finger with Essence Nail Art Special Effect Topper in 23 Million Dollar Baby. On this picture you can actually see the true color of this nail polish as it photographs really badly (my camera sees just the orange but in real life it's more of a deep pink with orange undertones). I also love the orange flakies in it! Perfect for the sunny days in autumn that remind me of the summer that never was.

A really long time no hear or see but I've missed blogging and the blogging community.

While I was away a lot of things happened: one of the main things was that I decided to be a pro photographer and than got an internship as a photographer at Adria Media (one of the biggest publishing houses in Slovenia - they publish Cosmopolitan, Elle, Playboy ...) and still have a blog there (in Slovene). Actually writing that blog inspired me to start blogging again. 

Then what's new? I colored my hair green. Yup, you read it right: green. I get a lot of weird looks, comments and reactions but overall I love the color and how it looks on me.

In the meantime I didn't stop being a beauty freak as my nail polish collection grew bigger and bigger and I'm now counting more than 200 nail polishes *ahem*.

But let's move to my welcome back makeup. Honestly it isn't anything special. I wanted to use some purple and pink after a long time of my staple makeup (eyeliner + mascara). Too bad the red and pink aren't as pigmented as they looked like in the pan.

Even though it's called a Topper, I've used it for my manicure and my pedicure. I love it! I applied two coats, but I didn't even go for full opacity (obviously).

It's gorgeous!

Maybe you've noticed that lately I've been having an obsession with the color blue?

It's just that it reminds me of the sky and all those gorgeous days when you just go on a walk and don't think about your problems, but instead of the nature that surrounds you. 

So how better celebrate the first day of Spring (actually today it's the third, but I wore it on the first) than with a pretty blue manicure that on top of everything sparkles as crazy? :))

It's time to start showing you some swatches of my latest haul.

It was love at first sight with this color. It has got gold shimmer! 

Plus it's opaque in one coat.

You may think this isn't a "me" color, but I love it, because from time to time you have to just relax and let go of vivid colors :P If that even makes sense.

Anyway let's move to the pictures.

This time I bought something for me :)

Do you know that Essence has lunched a lot of new things? No, well go check it out if you can.

This is what I got (minus the gel eyeliner that is in the 2nd picture)

This was my first part of the haul (day 1)

From left to right: Circus Confetti (it reminds me of Happy Birthday from Lippmann), Hello Holo (omg it's a holo topper), Cool and the Gang (a TRUE indigo), Bella (hopefully it's a dupe of H&M Bella's Choice, but I doubt it).

Ok, now I'll show you how the gel eyeliner looks like. I picked the purple one, because I love purple (heh, which color I don't love?) And of course I had to stick my finger in it. Do you know what happend? I picked up half of the gel eyeliner with it! (ok, I'm a bit exagerating, but it's extremely soft). I thought, well whatever, I'll test it out.  Huh, see for yourself. 

It did need some work to work (:D), but to me it wasn't purple. It looked black(ish) and it didn't last more than 3 hours on my eyes (and eyeliners stay put on my eyes). 

So I love the nail polishes and adore the new brushes (all their brushes are amazing), but I would skip the gel eyeliner.

I love shopping :) Do you know why? Because I feel like a kid in a candy store with all those colors to chose from. And  the best part is, that I can wear those colors (unlike with candy, where you eat them :D) and play with them. So the next time you see me in a cosmetic department giggling like crazy, you'll know why :D

Hello Girls :)

Today I'll show my current manicure. The base was Essence Jungle Drum (a dark chocolate brown that looks almost like black). On top I stamped a net (khm sorry for my "perfect" stamping skills- I still need lots of practise with full nail konading) with a gold S-he nail polish and one of the latest full nail Essence nail plates.

So today I have for you my current safe-for-work-but-not-boring manicure.

I've used Essence Zulu as my base and Essence Lime Up! (a Shrek green) for stamping.

The result is a very subtle happy manicure :D

Today I have for you a pretty pastel pink (in RL it's more bubblegum pink), because it's almost Valentine's Day and because it smells just like spring around here.

I needed 3 coats for full opacity.

This nail polish is from Essence Cute as Hell Le from last February.

This is a very quick nail art thingy. The base is Essence Hypnotic Paradise Poison.

Don't be fooled by this gorgeousness! It isn't a dark red color or a purple color, but it's something in between with lots of shimmer.  As usual it, such beauty, won't photograph well.
