FOTD: Green is the new thing
Hello Lovelies,
A really long time no hear or see but I've missed blogging and the blogging community.
While I was away a lot of things happened: one of the main things was that I decided to be a pro photographer and than got an internship as a photographer at Adria Media (one of the biggest publishing houses in Slovenia - they publish Cosmopolitan, Elle, Playboy ...) and still have a blog there (in Slovene). Actually writing that blog inspired me to start blogging again.
Then what's new? I colored my hair green. Yup, you read it right: green. I get a lot of weird looks, comments and reactions but overall I love the color and how it looks on me.
In the meantime I didn't stop being a beauty freak as my nail polish collection grew bigger and bigger and I'm now counting more than 200 nail polishes *ahem*.
But let's move to my welcome back makeup. Honestly it isn't anything special. I wanted to use some purple and pink after a long time of my staple makeup (eyeliner + mascara). Too bad the red and pink aren't as pigmented as they looked like in the pan.
What I've used:
Face: ♥ Catrice Photo Finish in 010 Sand Beige
♥ Bourjois blush Rose de Jaspe 95
Eyes: ♥ Essence Wild Craft Eyebrow set
♥ Catrice Arts Collection set (purple + pink eyeshadow)
♥ Deborah 24 ore Absolute volume mascara
♥ L'Oreal Color Riche Crayon Le Khol in 101 Midnight Black
Lips: ♥ S-he Lipstick in 458 and 326
Are you as happy as me to be back?

NOTD: Christmas Manicure 2
It's Christmas today! :) (actually it's 3/4 gone)
I'll show you what I wore for today. I wanted something Christmas-like, but not red (since I already wore that) and had a gold nail polish lying around ... so I wore that pretty gold nail polish for half a day (sorry no pictures) and than I added the stickers.
S-he 230 (pretty gold one) + some nail stickers.
Yup, the design is different on both hands :P
Left thumb
Hope you had a fun Christmas!

Swatches: S-he Lipstick 326 and 458
As promised here are the swatches of my latest S-he lipsticks.
S-he 326 is more moisturizing and less pigmented, while 458 is more pigmented, but still not drying.
I always wanted a purple lipstick and lately, orange has been my obsession :P
Surprisingly, the purple one is very wearable :)
This one is not completely orange, as it's hard to get an orange lipstick in the drugstore, so it's more orange with a strong red undertone.
I love both of them!
Now I just need a real orange lipstick!
Which one is your favourite?

NOTD: S-he 439
Hello Lovelies!
Today I'll show you my current manicure. I really loved my french manicure but it turned out that Essence French Pen sucks! It chipped within few hours (and I had three coats over it) on my whole right hand. My left hand was intact, but only for a hour more than my right hand. Anyway I remembered why I disliked that product. True, it makes doing french manicures so much easier, but it needs two coats (what is kind of difficult with french tips already) and it chips within hours (no matter what you do).
Here is S-he 439 that is one of those polishes that were impulsively bought.
I bought it because I taught it's a black polish with glitter. But in reality is a dark brown with gold shimmer and holographic glitter. A true beauty to see in real life!
Artificial light:
But today I got already bored with it as it is more of an autumn color (and here is summer already). So I did a konadicture on top of it ... blah.

NOTD: Little Prince
Hello Lovelies!
Today I'll show you my current manicure. I called it Little Prince as it reminds me of Little Prince's lonely planet.
I've used Essence Underwater for my base,
Essence Shocking Blue and S-he 393 for sponging, Essence Twins Romeo for a hibiscus konadicture and Essence Glisten Up (flakies) for layering.
Here are the pictures under different lights (artificial and natural) and with and without flash.
How do you like it?

NOTD: Cheetah in the Jungle
I've been watching all those cheetah nail manicures in the past weeks so I finally decided it's time to try it for myself. It was actually one of the easiest manicures EVER :D
For the base I've used Essence In the Jungle.
Here is step 1 (it doesn't look that bad at all)
So pretty and easy! I will definitely do at least another one (this time with a light base).
Do you like it?

NOTD: Ruffian manicure, nail art ...
Some time ago I bought this gorgeous pink/orange nail polish and yesterday I decided to try it on. The color is gorgeous but the application of it was hell! It is very dense with a jelly structure and it needed 3 thick coats to be even. But because of the 3 thick coats it become to bubble.
I present you Essence 52 Wild Thing
Today I put on S-he 230, which is a cold gold, for a Ruffian manicure.
But that wasn't enough! I decided to play a little bit more with it ...
But than I broke a nail and now I have very very short nails :/

NOTD: S-he 436 Glamorized
Here is my S-he 436 manicure glamorized up :)
I really can't remember what nail polish I've used for stamping, eh sorry. But I can tell you that Essie Matte About You can really ruin every (dry!) konadicture! It deleted my thumb konadicture and partially my index (you can see it from the picture).
Anyway enjoy!

NOTD: S-he 436
S-he 436 is a gorgeous metallic purple with a boring number instead of a fun name.
It's actually a more vibrant color than on the pictures.
I've applied 2 coats
with flash
no flash
But since it has a cold undertone I didn't feel like it (it's finally spring!) so I took it off.
I'm so happy that spring is here :D
And I'm so close to finally do right that seminar paper :)

NOTD: S-he 330 with red flowers
I changed my manicure to the so called "mannequin hands" and it looked boring .... So I stamped on some red flowers with Jade 77 (red seduction). I've had this Jade polish for years! I'm not really sure if the company exists anymore.

I want to buy more stamping plates as now I have 3 and all have mostly flower patterns, but I want something more fun.
Eh :)

Mini haul
Since I know how much you like hauls, I got something today :) I was looking for a good base for all those jelly, frosty and glittery colors, so I got the beige one. I also saw a neon pink and I had to get it :) (I've taken the pic on the couch and yes, our couch is neon pink :P) But then I saw the blueish one and it immediately reminded me of a frankenpolish I saw. It was gorgeous so I grabbed it as well :)
Now I want to try them all ... :)
