NOTD: Birthday Manicure

I wanted something cute on my nails for my birthday, so I tried something completely different, something I never did before: nail art roses.
At first I didn't like it, because I thought it looks like crap, but I soon realized it looks cute XD
Here is my first nail roses attempt:

How to: Cheetah Nails
Hello Lovelies!
Today I will show you how to do a cheetah manicure. It's really easy and fast.
You'll need 3 colors: one basic color for the whole nails, another for the dots and a third one for contouring.
1. Start with a base color. For this nail art, I've chosen Essie Flirty Fuchsia.
2. Take the second color and start making random oval(-ish) dots. The more random and not-perfect dots, the more natural effect.
3. Take the third color. A nail art pen or brush will be really helpful in this step.
4. Start contouring the dots. Do a half or 3/4 or a broken circle.
See? It looks far from perfection.
5. Continue with all dots.
Finish off with a clear top coat. And ta-da! It's done :)

NOTD: Cheetah in bikini
Hahahaha I just had to write such a title :D
Anyway this is the last post with cheetah manicure (except if someone wants a tutorial).
I can't say it enough how this manicure is super easy and fun! You want to do just one nail and before you think twice your whole hand is done!
And if I think just about some time ago when I hated animal print ... now I think I'm becoming obsessed :P

Dots: Nfuoh 65
Lines: Essence Nail art polish in black

NOTD: Cheetah in the Jungle
I've been watching all those cheetah nail manicures in the past weeks so I finally decided it's time to try it for myself. It was actually one of the easiest manicures EVER :D
For the base I've used Essence In the Jungle.
Here is step 1 (it doesn't look that bad at all)
So pretty and easy! I will definitely do at least another one (this time with a light base).

NOTD: Ruffian manicure, nail art ...
Some time ago I bought this gorgeous pink/orange nail polish and yesterday I decided to try it on. The color is gorgeous but the application of it was hell! It is very dense with a jelly structure and it needed 3 thick coats to be even. But because of the 3 thick coats it become to bubble.
I present you Essence 52 Wild Thing
Today I put on S-he 230, which is a cold gold, for a Ruffian manicure.
But that wasn't enough! I decided to play a little bit more with it ...
But than I broke a nail and now I have very very short nails :/

NOTD: Liquorice
I decided to try out my new Essence nail polish. It's called In the jungle. It is a one-coater, but I'm sloppy so I applied two coats. The more I was looking at it more it seemed boring. So I applied a coat of Essie Matte about you. Even more boring .... hmmm what could I do with it? Let's do some nail art! And so it started ... when everything seemed as it would be one of those "you-should-have-left-it-alone-in-the-first-place" manicures, it turned out pretty interesting and not at all over the top.

Swatches: Essence Nail Art Twins
All nail polishes from the TWINS collection are one-coaters :) 3 out of 4 are cream nail polishes, only Romeo has a slight frosty finish.
On my index finger: Thelma
Middle finger: Bonnie
Ring finger: Romeo
Pinkie finger: Mr. Big
Now to the paired twins. Basically the glitters are all the same, with just different colored small glitter.
On my index finger: Thelma & Louise
Middle finger: Bonnie & Clyde
Ring finger: Romeo & Juliette
Pinkie finger: Mr. Big & Carrie

Sorry, I'm just not a fan of very very long nails filled with stuff. I have trouble already with some rhinestones on my nails so I can't really imagine how anyone can do anything with those nails.
