NOTD: Essence Into the Wild Zulu
Hello Dears!
Today I'll show you Essence (02) Zulu from the Trend Edition Into the Wild. This color is something between gray and brown. I've seen some blogger pictures in the past (and recently) and I loved them (and that was the main reason I bought it) but I really really hate it on my nails. It is supposed to dry matte but it dries satin. See for yourself:
Here I did a comparison with Essie Matte About You top coat, so that you could see how matte is supposed to look like. Matte top coat on my index and ring finger:
But I really wasn't convinced with the color so I did a sponge manicure on top of it with Essence (01) Desert Fox from the same collection.
Naah ... still not convinced. I did a konadicture on top of it with Essence Twins Romeo. The combo was almost invisible and I hated it.
So I layered Sinful Colors (921) All About You. All About You is a transparent nail polish with loads of gold glitter that changes color to green and some bigger pieces of orange glitter.
It looked so much prettier with this layer of glitter! I even got some compliments. Anyway I still hate it. It must be because it's too brown for me (I dislike brown color).
And what about you? What is your least favourite color?
XOXO Parisky

NOTD: Polka Dots
Hello Girls!
This time I wanted to show you my new manicure. Actually I've been sporting it for 3 days and it is now in a really bad condition. Since I really loved the glittery french manicure and wanted to do something like that, I went for a chevron french with polka dots :)
P.S. I've been hauling ... a lot ;)

NOTD: Rimmel 60 Seconds Pulsating
Hello Lovelies! :)
Today I'll show you another Rimmel polish. This one as the previous (Camouflage) doesn't look anything special in the bottle but on the nails it comes to life! It's s a color that is extremely hard to capture as it is something in between fuchsia and purple and as you may know camera usually hates this kind of color.
Don't be fooled by this pictures! In real life it looks so much more gorgeous as it is very vivid with a slightly visible blue undertone. The formula as with the previous one was great, except this one took longer to dry (in the meantime I ruined 3 nails ...) and requires at least 2 coats (3 would not hurt as well).
Gorgeous! It's one nail polish you MUST HAVE if you're into pinks!
EDIT: I was thinking really hard *ehm* how to show you the true color of this nail polish. And then it came to me. This nail polish is the exact same gorgeous shade as a car I've been seing ads all around but now really can't recall its name :(

NOTD: Purpletastic
Here is the manicure from Saturday :) I've used S-he purple nail polish (very dark purple) 464 and a layer of Sinful Colors I love you. I have discovered that my bf's mobile phone camera hates the I love you nail polish (it makes it blue on pictures).
So I just used a little bit of my Photoshop skills *insert evil laugh*
and now you can see the actual color of my manicure.
I really like it because it was dark and purple plus it has pink glitter! :)
Too bad it's already all chipped (my right hand). Sometimes I am wondering what a nail polish has to take before it chips.
I hope you had a great weekend!
P.S. Would you answer the poll on the right? ;)

NOTD: Love is in the air
Hello :)
Today I wanted to do a Love related manicure since Valentine's day is approaching :)
So here is an idea for yours Valentine's day nails:
I've used my pastel pink frankenpolish (any light pink will do) and waited until this was fully dried (actually I've just used Essie good to Go).
Than I draw 2 dots with the nail polish brush and connected those 2 dots with a toothpick.
After this I've waited some more and applied Sinful Colors Pearl Harbour and Essie Good to Go.

My right thumb came out much prettier than my left one (because that was my testing finger) :D

Hope you like it!

NOTD: Sinful Colors I love you + voting time :)
I finally changed my manicure to something purple (again)! Lately I've been really obsessed with purple (nail polishes and makeup, but, if I had any purple clothes I would be definitely wearing it now).
For this manicure I've used Sinful Colors I love you and the very pretty stickers from Fing'rs :D
The application of the nail polish was without a problem, it is a little bit too runny for my taste but the color is gorgeous. I've applied 3 coats and then ruined my manicure :/ But because I love this color so much, I cleaned all off and re-applied everything (I was really angry :P). In the bottle the color is a deep purple (this time the mobile phone camera captured the purple!! *happy dance*) with pink glitter in it that is well visible in the light.
I've applied a coat of Frenzy (SC) on my thumb and it's very sparkly now.
My poor cuticles with all the acetone :/ Does anyone know something that would help my cuticles (and hands - very dry because of the weather)?
P.S. Remember my post about Parokeets Contes? Well now it's time to vote. You can vote here (the pool is on the bottom right side)
I've entered with this EOTD

NOTD: where is my purple?
Hello lovelies!
Today I wanted to present you my new manicure. I've used Sinful Colors (Let's talk + I love you and on my ring finger San Francisco and Pearl Harbor).
The application was without a problem (2 coats) but when I wanted to take pictures of my new mani there was an interesting problem. Apparently my bf's mobile phone camera doesn't know how purple looks like (I've tried different angles and light). See for yourself:
Nope, this really looks like indigo blue to me.
You can see how the nail polish really looks like (in bottle) here.
