Contest Entry: Brothers Grimm

The gorgeous Tali form the Gloss Goss is having a very interesting contest: Take a Brothers Grimm Story and make a makeup contest entry with a dark twist :)

I choose the Little Red Riding Hood Story because It was the first story I remembered that I actually like. And I love red :P

I wanted to recreate her not-so-innocent look with a dark twist. I choose the colors: red, darker red (because of her hood) , dark green, light green (forest) and lots of black (dark twist, right?). I left the lips neutral, so the focus is more on the eyes. And I almost forgot: the black lines that go on from my eye are kind of supposed to reppresent branches with some green leaves.

Because I didn't have a red hood lying around I had to improvise :P I use a red-pink scarf and put on a black T-shirt. So, this Little Red Riding Hood isn't so little and red :P

And finally here are the pictures:

The picures with the bad wolf :P (I cosplayed with my dog too, but she wasn't cooperative as much as this The Dog)

I have used:

  • Skin Food Mushroom Multi Care BB Cream
  • MaxFactor Colour adapt (45 warm almond)
  • MaxFactor Pan stick (12 true beige)
  • S-he compact powder (02 soft beige)
  • Essence mineral powder blush (01 almost famous)
Eyes and eyebrows:
  • Costal Scents 88 palette (red, darker red, dark green)
  • Miss Sporty Liquid shadow (800 intrigue)
  • Essence Liquid Eyeliner (01 Black)
  • MaxFaxtor Falsh Lash Effect mascara (black)
  • Dior Powder Eybrow Pencil (453 sable sand)
  • Gosh Waterproof Eyeshadow (love that beige)
  • Essence XXXL Shine lipgloss (01 pure)

This one was fun ;)

XOXO Parisky

Thank you Tali! :) You definitely have to! I think I don't ever need to buy another eyeshadow! They're so pigmented! :) And now they have another palette, I think it's all brownish.
