Review and Swatches: O.P.I. Texas Lil Shooters

This will be another of those fun, bilingual reviews, since a Slovene company (zapikonai) sent me this cute lil shooters.

To bo še ena izmed tistih zabavnih, dvojezičnih ocen :) Namreč iz zapikonai so mi poslali v oceno štiri nove O.P.I. lakce.

I'll describe them as I've listed them, starting with Austin-tatious Turquoise. Austin-tatious Turquoise is a pretty blue-green (more blue than green) nail polish that shines immensely on the sun and needs three coats for full opacity, but nail lines are still a bit visible under direct light. The application wasn't problematic at all, even though the nail polish is on the watery side.
Opisala jih bom po vrsti, tako kot sem jih naštela, začenši z Austin-tatious Turquoise. Austin-tatious Turquoise je lep modro-zelen (bolj moder kot zelen) lak za nohte, ki se zelo lepo sveti na soncu. Potrebuje tri plasti za polno prekrivnost, vendar so linije nohta še vedno rahlo vidne pod močno svetlobo. Nanos je bil neproblematičen, kljub temu, da je lak bolj voden.
I Vant to Be A-Lone Star was my least favourite from the bunch when I first saw the swatches, but it was my absolute winner when I wore it on my nails. Not sure why, maybe it was the fact, that it needed only 2 coats, or the gorgeous light blue color that looks like light grey on some lights. Who knows? But I love it.
Ko sem si ogledovala vzorce teh lakcev na internetu, mi je bil I Vant to Be A-Lone Star najmanj všeč. Ampak, ko sem si z njim nalakirala nohte, pa je to bila ljubezen na prvi nanos :)) Lak za razliko od ostalih dveh potrebuje le 2 plasti za polno prekrivnost. Je pa I Vant to Be A-Lone Star čudovito svetlo modre barve, ki na določeni svetlobi deluje siv. Ah, popolnost.
Do You Think I'm Tex-y? is a gorgeous jelly berry nail polish. It's a bit darker than in the first picture, but perfect for spring and summer. I didn't have any problems with the application with this one as well, and it needed three coats for full opacity.
Do You Think I'm Tex-y? je čudovit "žele" lak za nohte jagodne barve. V resnici je malo temnejši kot na prvi sliki, ampak še vedno je popoln za pomlad in poletje. Tudi s tem lakom nisem imela nobenih težav pri nanosu in tudi ta lak je potreboval tri plasti za polno prekrivnost.
Pros:

Cons:
- On the watery side
- Most need 3 coats for full opacity
Price: 11€-13€ for nail polish
Overall: This Lil Shooters Texas collection is a nice mix of different finishes: jelly, creme and shimmer. All the polishes I was sent are really pretty, a bit on the watery side and most of them need 3 coats for full opacity. But since jellys are in again, that's a "flaw" I can easily overlook. The drying time was extremely fast thanks to the RapiDry Top Coat and I've learned that RapiDry Top Coat is also suitable for konading.

Povzetek: Všeč mi je, da so v tej Texas Lil Shooters kolekciji različni finiši (jelly/žele, krem in šimer). Vsi lakci, imajo rahlo vodeno formulo, vendar so letos žele lakci spet "in", zato jim to z lahkoto odpustim :) Zaradi RapiDry nadlaka so se tudi vsi posušili v rekodrno hitrem času, poleg tega pa sem ugotovila, da ja RapiDry nadlak primeren tudi za konadiranje.

Be a Lone Star looked very white in the bottle, I actually like the color on the nails... Might have to check that one out :p
Lepe barve! Lepi so, zdržijo, ampak sovražim to da jih je treba 150x nanest, da dobiš barvo iz "flaške" na noht.. Lih en teden nazaj sm kupla prvi opi lakec.. lepa barva, super nanos nič se ne umažeš ampak sem morala dat gor 5 plasti?! too much nimam tolko časa :)

O.P.I. so super:) Edini lakci, ki zdržijo na nohtih par dni... brez se okrušit:)
If the fuchsia fits... barva je taprava za letošnje poletje drugače je pa iz 2009 kolekcije ne vem katere točno.
